China’s President Xi Jinping sends letter to President of National Council for Russia and China

President Xi Jinping: “I devote much of my attention to the development of Sino-Serbian relations and I hold in high esteem the close professional relationship and personal friendship that we have developed over the years.”

Belgrade, 9 July 2018 – President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China Tomislav Nikolić had a meeting today with Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Li Manchang, who handed him a letter of appreciation from China’s President Xi Jinping. The letter reads as follows:

“I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the congratulations addressed to me on the occasion of my birthday.

I devote much of my attention to the development of Sino-Serbian relations and I hold in high esteem the close professional relationship and personal friendship that we have developed over the years. I am confident that, with you at its helm, the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China will play a more prominent role in deepening practical cooperation between China and Serbia, with the aim of drawing benefits for both nations.

I wish you good health and success in all of your endeavours”, reads the letter signed by President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping.
